Search project files and work records without opening every tool separately.
Before you start
Select the project whose work you want to search. File indexing may take a moment for a newly added folder.
The demo search returns matches for activation across different kinds of project content. The tabs narrow the result type before you open a match.
Step by step
Select the intended project and open Search from the sidebar.
Enter a distinctive word from the work, such as activation in the demo. Start with All to see the available result types.
Use Files, Chats, Tasks, or Docs to narrow the results. Check each result’s type and surrounding text before opening it.
Open a result and confirm that it belongs to the expected project and work item. Return to Search and refine the query if you chose a similarly named item.
Use Find in current view when you need a match inside the document or editor you are already reading.
What to expect
The selected result opens in its relevant workspace view.
Troubleshooting and useful details
If nothing matches, confirm the project and filter, shorten the query, and wait for indexing to finish. Generated folders such as node_modules are excluded from file discovery; project search is not a promise to search every byte on disk.
