Edit text and styles with the visual inspector
Edit directly on an artboard and use the inspector for precise changes.

Choose Design at the top. Editing works in Canvas or Focus; there is no separate Edit or Done editing step.
Edit on the screen
Double-click the text on an artboard to activate its editor and start editing. Only that screen becomes live; the other artboards remain previews.
Type your change. Select part of the text to use the floating formatting toolbar.
For other changes, select the element and use Content, Style, or Advanced in the right inspector.
Use Inspector in the screen header to collapse or reopen the panel when you need more room.
Click empty canvas to finish text editing and clear the element selection. Watch the save status for Saved.
Select the right element
A container, image, button, and text element expose different properties. If typing does not change text, select or double-click the actual text element rather than its surrounding container. Use the inspector’s text control when appropriate.
Keep changes local
Inspector style edits can create local overrides. They affect this design rather than publishing a change to its shared design system. Use Undo or Redo in the screen header for recent edits. Switch to Prototype to try interactions without editing outlines; switching screens waits for pending edits to save.
