Test a prototype on desktop and mobile
Follow screen links and check layouts at different viewing sizes.

Prototype shows one screen at a time so you can try the design’s interactions. It is separate from the Design workspace’s Canvas, Grid, and Focus views.
Connect and play screens
In Design, select a link or button and choose its destination through the inspector’s Screen link property. You can also ask the Agent to connect a flow by naming the source control and destination screen.
Choose Prototype at the top and click the linked controls.
Use Back to return through the screens you visited, or select another starting screen from Screens.
Choose Desktop or Mobile in the bottom bar to inspect the layout at that viewing size.
Use Fit screen or zoom for a comfortable view. Return to Design for changes, or All screens for the canvas.
Viewing size versus saved size
Desktop and Mobile in Prototype temporarily change the viewing viewport. They do not change the screen’s saved dimensions, create another screen, or generate responsive styles. Switching screens resets this temporary size. To change the saved viewport, resize the artboard in Design or use its screen-menu viewport action.
What to check
Look for clipped content, awkward text wrapping, navigation that no longer fits, and actions that are hard to reach. Ask the Agent to fix the responsive layout when needed. Prototype interactions can use sample data; test real authentication, persistence, and network behavior in the implemented application.
