Install Choro on your Mac and use the introductory tour to learn the workspace.
Before you start
Have access to a coding provider and a local project folder. The introductory Playground is separate from your normal workspace.
Install and get started
Visit https://choro.dev and use Download to get the current Mac release. Use the system requirements shown with that release.
Open the downloaded disk image, copy Choro to Applications, and launch Choro from Applications.
In the welcome tour, choose Build something. Select the tools and coding providers you use, then check their connection statuses.
Follow the guided Playground steps through agent work, docs, tasks, and the running project. Review each result before advancing.
Choose Start working when you are ready, then Add project to select your own local folder. You can also exit the tour and begin with an existing project.
What to expect
Choro opens your workspace, and your selected project appears in the sidebar.
If setup is blocked
If a provider says Not installed or Sign in needed, finish that provider’s setup before sending an agent task. If macOS refuses to launch the app, record the exact message and contact support; do not disable system security as a routine setup step.
