Restore workspace data from a Choro export archive.

Restore workspace data from a Choro export archive.
Before you start
Import replaces the current Choro workspace data. Export a backup of the current workspace first, and confirm that you have selected the intended archive. Do not use import as a harmless way to preview an unknown backup.

Step by step
Open Settings → Data backups and review the import description. Make sure your current workspace has a recent export you can locate.
Choose Import and select the Choro workspace export ZIP you intend to restore. Selecting the file starts the import, so check its name and date before confirming the picker.
Allow the operation to finish without closing Choro. The import workflow creates a backup of the current workspace as part of replacement.
Follow the app’s restart or reload guidance so open views reflect the restored data.
After reopening, check several familiar projects, conversations, and documents. Confirm that the underlying local project folders are available at the paths the restored workspace expects.
What to expect
The selected archive becomes the restored workspace state. The import is a replacement operation, not a merge of two independent workspaces.
Troubleshooting and useful details
If the archive is rejected, retain both the original archive and your current backup, and record the error. Do not edit the archive contents or repeatedly import different files into important data to investigate. A restored project entry cannot make a missing repository folder reappear.
