Make frequently used actions easier to reach with your own keyboard shortcuts.
Before you start
Open Settings → Keyboard shortcuts. Record an existing custom binding before replacing it if you may want to restore it later.
Demo screenshot: Keyboard shortcuts. Search narrows the action list, while All and Modified switch between the full set and your customizations. Click a shortcut’s keycap to change its binding.
Change a shortcut
Search for the action by name, such as New Agent or Quick Ask. Use All to browse every action and Modified to inspect only your changes.
Click the shortcut keycap for the action you want to change. Press the new key combination when the control is listening.
If Choro reports a duplicate or reserved combination, choose another binding. A shortcut needs to identify one intended action without colliding with another.
Press Escape to cancel a pending capture. Use Delete to unassign a binding when that is what you intend.
Try the action from the normal workspace. If you want the original binding back, use its restore-default control; use Reset all only when you intend to reset every custom shortcut.
What to expect
The action shows its new key combination and can be invoked from the workspace. Guides that quote a default shortcut may differ from your customized setting.
If a shortcut does not work
If the shortcut does not trigger, check whether you are still editing the binding or focused in a text field that consumes it. Search for the action again to verify the saved combination. Do not reset all bindings just to fix one action.
