Before you start
Open Settings → Beta features. Read the description of a feature before enabling it; beta behavior can change as the app evolves.
Demo screenshot: Beta features with Delegation switched off. Enabling it reveals its limits; saved Bandmate profiles and standalone chats are separate from this toggle.
Step by step
Locate the feature you want to use. For managed Band delegation, turn Delegation on.
When delegation is enabled, review the controls for concurrent Bandmates per lead, concurrent Bandmates across Choro, and work revisions. Start with limits that keep the work easy to follow.
Return to your project and explicitly request the feature. For example, use /delegate and select the Bandmates you want; enabling the toggle does not automatically create a team.
To stop allowing new delegation runs later, turn the toggle off. Existing teams can finish, and their historical chats and results remain available.
If your intention is to pause an already-running team, use that team’s Stop control. The global toggle and an active run’s controls serve different purposes.
What to expect
The local preference takes effect without a restart. Saved Bandmate profiles and standalone Bandmate chats remain distinct from managed delegation.
Troubleshooting and useful details
If delegation is unavailable, check this toggle before changing providers or creating duplicate profiles. Importing a workspace archive does not automatically enable delegation. Existing Stop and Resume controls can remain available when the toggle is off.
