Undo edits and recover an unsaved draft
Reverse recent changes and keep your work when saving fails.

Undo a current screen edit
While editing in Design, press Cmd+Z or Ctrl+Z, or use Undo in the screen header. Use Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y to redo. The editor keeps multiple steps, including more than ten recent edits, across autosaves and Canvas/Focus switches.
Finishing a text-editing session creates an undo step; property changes have their own steps. A new edit clears the redo branch. Text inputs in the inspector use their own typing undo, and shortcuts in the Agent composer apply to that composer.
Undo a saved change
For persisted design edits, open Screens → Screen actions → Undo saved edit or Redo saved edit. This is separate from the current editor’s history, which is replaced when you move to another screen. Shared design-system updates use their own review flow.
If a save fails
Read the save error and leave the draft available.
Use Retry save when the problem can be retried.
If the stored screen changed and your draft needs reconciliation, use Keep draft & reload. This preserves the draft and reloads the current screen.
Ask the Studio Agent to reconcile the recovered draft with the current screen, then inspect and save the result.
Studio waits for pending edits before switching screens or preparing implementation. A conflict does not silently overwrite a concurrent change. Conversation history is not an undo mechanism: reopening an old chat does not restore an old design.
