Inspect the reusable skills Choro discovers from your coding providers.
Before you start
Open Settings → Skills. Provider skills and Choro Riffs are different sources of reusable instructions; choose the tab for the source you want to inspect.
The Skills screen opens with the Choro Riffs library. Use the Codex or Claude tab at the top to inspect provider skills.
Step by step
Select Codex or Claude to see the skills discovered from that provider. Use search to find a skill by its purpose.
Read the available skill information before using it. A skill can contain workflow instructions and supporting resources, so its name alone is not a complete explanation of what it will do.
If a skill needs installation or editing, use the provider’s supported skill workflow. The list in Choro reflects the provider setup rather than creating a separate provider account.
Return to your agent composer and choose the relevant skill through the available picker or slash workflow. Add a concrete task so the agent knows what the guidance should be applied to.
For guidance you maintain within Choro across projects, consider a Riff in the Choro Riffs tab. For a saved specialist, attach a compatible skill in its Bandmate editor.
What to expect
The agent receives reusable guidance alongside the specific task. You still control the project, requested outcome, and any permissions that the work requires.
Troubleshooting and useful details
If a skill is missing, confirm the provider and its installed skill location before assuming the skill was deleted. If a linked skill becomes unavailable or incompatible, inspect the repair guidance instead of silently replacing it with an unrelated skill.
