Pause a delegated team, resume intentionally, or end coordination while keeping its files.
Before you begin
Open the lead conversation and inspect which assignments are active. Stopping work and deleting its output are different operations.
The demo assignment has been stopped and is marked Paused. The lead remains available, and the screenshot does not imply that paused work has resumed.
Steps
Use Stop on the relevant assignment or team control when you want work to pause. Wait for the status to reflect that the provider has stopped.
Read the current brief, activity, and any partial result before deciding what to do next. The lead conversation remains usable while Bandmates are stopped.
Choose Resume on an assignment or Resume bandmates when you intend the stopped work to continue.
If you want to finish coordinating this team without discarding its files, use End delegation · Keep files.
Inspect the retained work and the lead’s current state before starting a new implementation that might overlap it.
What to expect
Work resumes only after an explicit action. Ending delegation keeps the files available for review rather than treating an incomplete assignment as if it never happened.
Troubleshooting
Opening the Band panel does not resume work. Turning off Delegation in Beta features prevents new runs and is not a substitute for stopping an active team. If a provider cannot resume, address its authentication or configuration error before creating duplicate assignments.
